| Rutin histolojik prosedürlerde kemik ve diğer sert dokuların optik mikroskobik muayenesi için dekalsifikasyon yöntemleri gereklidir. Dekalsifiye edilecek materyal aşırı dekalsifiyan çözeltinin içerisine konur ve deminarelize edilir (dekalsifiye). Dekalsifikasyon süres, sert dokunun boyutuna ve yapısal yoğunluğuna bağlı iken, dekalsifiyan çözeltinin bileşimi de proses üzerinde belirleyici bir etki gösterir. Kemik ve sert dokuların dekalsifikasyonu, mineral tuzlarının asitleri serbest bırakan ve daha sonra durulanabilen OSTEOMOLL®’de olduğu gibi, inorganik asitlerin kullanımını gerektirir. Dekalsifiyan çözelti dekalsifikasyon prosedürünün teşhisini kolaylaştırmak için boyanmıştır. OSTEOMOLL® mavidir. Kullanılan boya dekalsifiye edilecek doku üzerindeki herhangi bir etki açısından inerttir. Hassas, kalsiyum içeren bir doku dekalsifiye edilirken, dokunun kalsiyum iyonlarını bağlayan kompleks ya da şelat oluşturucu ajanlar içeren OSTEOSOFT® gibi bir çözelti kullanılır. Bu tip bir dekalsifiyan çözelti antijen yapıları dokunun içerisinde korurken, sonuçta immünolojik prosedürler gerçekleştirilebilmektedir. Dekalsifiyan çözelti dekalsifikasyon prosedürünün teşhisini kolaylaştırmak için boyanmıştır. OSTEOSOFT® sarı renklidir. Kullanılan boya dekalsifiye edilecek doku üzerindeki herhangi bir etki açısından inerttir. |

| Overview | Histosec® pastilles is an embedding medium for histology of samples of human origin. It is a paraffin enriched with polymers, also available without the addition of DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide). DMSO increases the rate of penetration of paraffin and provides additional preservation of the tissue structures. Its melting range is between 56 - 58 °C and, within this range any specimen can be processed without fear of damage irrespective of the method used. In most clinical laboratories the paraffinization is performed with an automated embedding system and is performed directly after the histoprocessing. The Histosec® pastilles are well soluble with the Intermedia Xylene or xylene substitutes (such as Neo-Clear(R)). The paraffin is an IVD registered product and CE certified, thus can be used for clinical diagnostic purposes. |
