Application
1,2-Dimethoxyethane may be used as a solvent in the following processes:
- Synthesis of cyclic amines from amino alcohols via direct cyclodehydration.[1]
- Stereoselective synthesis of trans-1,2-disubstituted alkenes from 1-phenyl-1H-tetrazol-5-yl sulfones and aldehydes in the presence of potassium or sodium hexamethyldisilazide.[2]
- Synthesis of adamantylideneadamantane from 2-adamantanone via reductive coupling.[3] |
