DESCRIPTION
General description
Efficacy of 2.5% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) solution as endodontic irrigant has been tested. It was reported as comparatively more efficient antimicrobial agent than 0.2% chlorhexidine gluconate solution. It has been proposed as tissue solvent. It has bactericidal properties. Effect of time and storage conditions on tissue-dissolving capacity of various concentrations of NaOCl have been evaluated. NaOCl is commonly used for the removal of bloom-forming or biofouling organisms. It has been proposed as algicidal agent. We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Green Chemistry.
Application
Sodium hypochlorite is an oxidant used with catalytic TEMPO for oxidation of alcohols. It is generally used in the synthesis of sodium 3,3′-bis(sulfonato)-4,4′-bis(acetamido)azobenzene.
