DESCRIPTION
Application
Noble-Metal Nanostructures with Controlled Morphologies Gold(II) chloride solution can be used to prepare stable nanosized and underivatized colloidal gold particles in solution; e.g. synthesis of citrate-stabilized gold nanoparticles by the reduction of HAuCl4 with NaBH4 in an aqueous citrate solution.[1] It can also be used to prepare gold nanoparticles in the presence of aqueous solution of L-cysteine and methanol solution of 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid.[2]
