DESCRIPTION
General description
1,2-Benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one belongs to the chemical class of isothiazolinones and is known for its preservative, anti-bacterial, and antifungal properties. It is widely used in pesticide formulations to control different bacterial and fungal diseases.[1] It is also used in packaging, adhesives, detergents, disinfectants, sunscreen lotions, paints, and lubricants.[1]
Application
