Quality Level 200 form powder shelf life limited shelf life, expiry date on the label composition agar, 15 g/L bromocresol purple, 0.04 g/L L-cysteine hydrochloride, 1 g/L ferric chloride 6H2O, 0.09 g/L indoxyl-β-D-glucoside, 0.06 g/L magnesium sulfate 7H2O, 0.1 g/L sucrose, 5 g/L tryptose, 30 g/L yeast extract, 20 g/L manufacturer/tradename NutriSelect® Plus technique(s) microbiological culture: suitable final pH 7.6±0.2 (25 °C) application(s) environmental food and beverages water monitoring microbiology storage temp. 2-8°C suitability selective and differential for Clostridium spp. DESCRIPTION Application The m-CP Agar Base with selective supplement is recommended by the Directive of the Council of the European Union 98/83/EC for isolation and enumeratin of Clostridium perfringens from water samples using membrane filtration technique. Preparation Note Suspend 35.6 g in 485 ml distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 1 bar pressure (121 °C) for 15 minutes. Cool to 50 °C. Aseptically add the rehydrated contents of 1 vial of M-CP Selective Supplement I (Cat. No. 51962) and 1 vial of M-CP Selective Supplement II (Cat. No. 82265). Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates.
