Derived from cholic acid, a prevalent human bile acid, sodium cholate hydrate′s water solubility and its applications extend to investigating the effects of various substances on cell cultures, making it a versatile tool in laboratory research. Application Sodium cholate hydrate has been used in a study to assess the effect of phospholipid formulation and surfactants on the dermal delivery of hydrophilic drugs from elastic liposomes.
